Engineering Drawing and Descriptive Geometry

Two distinct parts compose this textbook—Engineering Drawing and Descriptive Geometry—each part covering the most important elements of its subject matter, briefly and concisely, so that one semester will be sufficient for each subject, allowing ample time for the application of the principles in the drafting room. In Part Two, the author abandons the conventional method of teaching Descriptive Geometry for the “separate view” method, so called in order to emphasize the fact that the drawings are merely the usual Top, Front, and Side Views in third angle projection. After each chapter Charles Walsh includes problems as well as lecture notes which the instructor will find helpful in formulating his own lectures. The text has been used both for the Army and Navy training programs.
