The present volume is intended to give all those engaged in the Tea Trade, who wish to take an intelligent interest in it, a sketch if its growth and development in this country and a comprehensive review of its present scope and position; to bring together a mass if hitherto inaccessible facts and details of practical importance to the Trade, and to give such instructions, hints and advice, on the subject of blending, as shall enable every reader to attain with facility a degree of proficiency in the art which previously could only be arrived at by a course of long and often costly experience.
